Endangered Pieces are puzzles where each piece represents one animal left in the wild.

The pygmy three-toed sloth puzzle has 79 pieces.

With only 79 pygmy three-toed sloths remaining in the wild, these slow-moving tree-dwellers are Critically Endangered. They are found in Panama and live in red mangrove trees, which they also feed on. Although threatened by both poaching and incautious tourism, their main threat comes from deforestation. Their preferred habitat is already thought to occupy only 1.5 km2. When you take home this unique puzzle, you are helping to support critical conservation work that helps safeguard animals like the pygmy three-toed sloth.

Help build a future where puzzles like these become harder to do.
