Best known for their white fluffy (cottonball-like) tail, eastern cottontail rabbits are one of the most common rabbits in North America. They have large brown eyes set high on their head. Each eye can move more than half a circle, giving them excellent vision, along with an excellent sense of smell.

While eastern cottontail rabbits currently have healthy populations, their numbers may be impacted by habitat loss and hunting pressure in the long-term.

It’s sooo cute

My cottontail rabbit just arrived and it’s even cuter in person than in the photos. It’s not too big (About 20 cm on the longest axis, measuring straight across the body from the nose to the tail) and the fur is incredibly soft to the touch. I love the realistic look it has! Even my mom loves it. This is the best plushie I’ve gotten in a long time 🐇
