    WHY ADOPT A BUMBLEBEE?

Bumblebees are among the most important pollinators for native plants. We rely on them for fertilization of approximately 30 per cent of our food crops, but declines in bumblebee populations have been reported all over the world.

WWF-Canada is helping restore habitats by encouraging people across Canada to make their garden part of the solution by planting native flowers, shrubs and trees. Native tree species support more than 30 times the number of insects than non-native species! With your symbolic adoption, you're helping protect the food supply for wildlife and humans alike.

    DESIGNED TRUE-TO-LIFE BUMBLEBEE PLUSH

Just like real-life bumblebees, our plush have big bodies and small wings. In the wild, black and yellow colouration typically acts as a warning signal — in the case of bumblebees, it lets other animals know females can sting. Their fuzzy hair helps keep them warm and traps pollen grains, making them more effective pollinators.
