WHY ADOPT A RING-TAILED LEMUR?

There are 101 known species of lemur found in Madagascar. The ring-tailed lemur, named for the 13 alternating black and white bands that adorn their long, furry tail, is perhaps the most well known. Ring-tailed lemurs spend almost half of their time on the ground, walking on all four legs along the forest floor or sunbathing in open areas.

They are designated as Endangered under the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species due to threats including hunting, domestication and habitat loss. With your symbolic adoption, you're helping WWF protect habitats across the globe, ensuring the long-term survival of species like the ring-tailed lemur. What's more, you're providing a healthier natural world for us all.

DESIGNED TRUE-TO-LIFE LEMUR PLUSH

Our plush features the ring-tailed lemur's yellow eyes and, of course, black and white bands on its long, furry tail. This plush also has a white face with dark triangular eye patches, a black nose, grey back and limbs and a soft white belly.
