    WHY ADOPT A MONARCH BUTTERFLY?

Monarch butterflies complete one of the longest insect migrations in the world, embarking on an incredible journey across Canada and the United States to their wintering grounds in Mexico. A future generation will make the trip back, laying eggs on milkweed plants, the only source of food for baby caterpillars.

Assessed as Endangered by the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC), WWF-Canada is working along the monarch's epic migration route to protect forests, fight climate change and preserve habitat along the monarch's migratory path. With your symbolic adoption, you're helping ensure the long-term survival of species like the monarch butterfly and providing a healthier natural world for us all.

    DESIGNED TRUE-TO-LIFE MONARCH BUTTERFLY PLUSH

Our monarch butterfly plush features their vibrant orange, black, and white spotted bodies and wings. Did you know, their bright colours are a defence mechanism to warn predators against eating them?
